Doing the Least
Hey y'all. It's been a busy week so, in addition to sending this late, I'm keeping things short and sweet.
Watching, Reading, Listening
I finished the third season of Bridgerton and was pretty satisfied. Did I fast-forward through Benedict's three-ways? Yes. I just don't care. I wish him luck, though. We also watched Ultraman: Rising several times this weekend, including once with Bette's friends down the block. A precocious baby kaiju? Sold. I started On the Rocks. I'm not sure if I'll remember to finish it. I also took Bette to see Inside Out 2. Great message, boring delivery.
In books, I just started The Art Thief and it's so good. Very well-written and drops you right into things. Also very short. Bonus. I'm also going to start listening to Long Island soon, too. Love a Colm Tóibín and the audiobook is read by Jessie Buckley. Very much looking forward to it.
I listened to most of BRAT this week and I think I may have officially crossed the Murtaugh Rubicon™️.
Lifting
Back at it! Benched like I never left and deadlifted like it was the first fucking time. My legs were killing me for days.
Ingesting
Our Szechuan regulars from our favorite; veggie sushi from Silver Rice; tried my hand at some Agua de Jamaica; a standard but really great egg and cheese with ketchup from a deli on 5th; a hibiscus margarita with mezcal and wonderful salad from Zona Sur; trust me, do not sleep on Adirondack Creamery's Black Raspberry ice cream; 50 mg Vyvanse; 100 mg sertraline; a few supplements and some birth control.
Struggling
With the heat. I think this is me.
Buying
A summer weight blanket at the behest of my sleeping partner.
Creating
Opportunities for growth, if I wanted to put a positive spin on it.

I'm too tired to fixate.
